Barcelona City Bike Tour

A fun, laid-back bike tour that gives you a great overview of Barcelona’s amazing architecture, history, and street culture. Through our local guides, you will experience Barcelona from its beaches to its back streets, its monumental buildings to its bodegas and bars, and from its Roman ruins to its romantic hideaways.

Explore the Catalan capital in small and intimate groups that respect the city, and its citizens. Our Barcelona City Bike tour takes in many of the city’s top highlights, such as La Sagrada Familia, the Palau de la Musica, Ciutadella Park and Plaça Sant Jaume, as well as some curious and hidden treasures off the usual tourist trail. The tour runs daily at 11 AM and 4 PM, from Plaça Reial (one of the city’s most beautiful squares!), and is led by a passionate and knowledgeable local who delights in showing travelers her home town.

The tour takes approximately 3 hours. The bikes are comfortable and easy to ride, even for inexperienced cyclists who don’t know a handlebar from a tapas bar. Helmets are optional but recommended. Groups are small so it’s friendly and intimate - there’s time to talk, take photos and enjoy all the amazing sights. This is a great activity for families, as the tour is suitable for all ages. Child seats are available.

About the host: Paula is a Barcelona local and knows the city inside-out, back-to-front and bottom-to-top. She has been a tour-guide for more than eight years and loves her job because she enjoys meeting new people, loves the city and genuinely wants her fellow-bikers to take away fond memories of her home town. You could not ask for a better guide.
