Walking tour of Salamanca with a local

My itinerary is flexible to suit your time and needs, but I will show you the square, the House of Shells, the University, the cathedrals, the Roman Bridge. . . everything from outside, just wandering.

We will start in the most beautiful square in the city and then I will take you to St. Martin Church, one of the many churches built during the 12th century.

Next I will show you the two cathedrals and the university, which was started in the 13th century. It has the oldest library in Europe, which we will also get to see.

The Roman bridge will be our next stop... and many more hidden places I want to show you. We will also take time for a coffee break in between with the famous "churros" or our famous "tapas".

About the host: I love history, especially medieval, and when I have time I read everything that falls into my hands. That is why I love this job, it gives me the opportunity not only to stay connected to the history of the city but also to convey to people the passion I feel and let them see through a small window how things happened, who lived here and what they did to make Salamanca such an important city.
