How to cook the famous Spanish omelet: my mum's recipe

Learn about the main aspects of Spanish and Catalan cuisine while you cook a Spanish omelet with me, here we call it the "tortilla de patatas" :D !

The tortilla is one of the best Spanish tapas and dishes. It is an important part of Spanish cuisine. What I mean here is that locals, like me, cook it quite often! This dish is also really easy to cook and most importantly, really yummy!

Throughout the experience, you will not only learn how to cook the perfect tortilla, but you will also learn about what we eat and drink and some misconceptions.

You will also learn how the Spanish eat bread and you will be able to make "pan con tomate" (bread with tomato) yourself!

If you are planning to come to Spain or Barcelona, I can also give you fantastic local recommendations about what to do, where to go, and how to plan your trip. You can ask me anything about my traditions and culture.

What is Catalan? Catalan is the language and culture of Catalonia, which is a region inside Spain. Barcelona is the capital of the region.

Testimonials: "Elvira was wonderful! Very informative and fun! She introduced us to the local delicacies of octopus with smoked paprika (delicious!) and leche de la pantera. We returned for both items later in our trip because they were amazing! Her tips and conversation were all very fun and helpful. She even provided us with suggestions for the rest of our trip. Wonderful experience! Definitely worth doing! Highly recommend." - Desiree, United States
